Ohio & Michigan Executive Orders – COVID-19 update
To Our Valued Customers,
On Sunday, March 22, 2020 Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced that Ohio will be under a “Stay at Home” order effective March 23rd which will remain in effect until April 6th. In addition, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued a similar Executive Order on March 23rd. This order takes effect at 12:01 AM, March 24th and continues through April 13th. Both of these orders require the temporary ceasing of certain business operations.
Per the Department of Homeland Security, several businesses have been designated as essential and can continue to operate during this period. Waste, Wastewater and Public Works are all identified as essential businesses. As a supplier of equipment, parts and service to all three of these sectors, we believe that our operations are essential and will remain open accordingly.
We stand by, ready to serve and support you as we go through these challenging times together. Please note that we have made several modifications to our normal business operations to protect the health and welfare of our employees, customers and suppliers. Details are as follows.
Staff: Service, Parts and Management personnel are all on-site. All Administrative and Sales staff are working remotely. We are not allowing any non-Bell personnel to enter either of our buildings at this time, hence we are utilizing outside yard drops and pick-ups.
Parts: Both locations (Ohio and Michigan) are open and operational as normal. We have temporarily suspended local parts deliveries and have pulled our Mobile Parts Truck off of the road. Parts deliveries will be made via common carrier or outside customer pick-up.
Service: All in-house service operations are running at both facilities with normal service hours (7:00AM – 5:00PM, M-F). We are not currently providing any road service, hence customers needing service will need to make arrangements to drop equipment at our facility accordingly. We also have several Service Technicians available via telephone for remote service diagnostics and trouble-shooting as needed.
Sales: All sales calls, appointments, meetings and demonstrations have been suspended. All Sales personnel are working remotely and are available via phone or email. We are still receiving orders and are making daily equipment deliveries to secured, designated areas.
Rentals: Our Rental Department is open and we are booking rentals daily. Rental equipment is being delivered on a regularly scheduled basis.
